On Thursday March 16th The Kent Volunteer Fire Department took the ambulance to The Kent Elementary School to help Girl Scout Troop #1080 earn their First Aid Badge & Safety Pin.

The Kent Volunteer Fire Department covered many topics to help the girls earn the badge/pin, such as a tour of the ambulance and all the equipment they use, the importance of 911; when to call and when not to call, What information to provide when calling 911, examples of how to treat injuries, basic first aid and fire safety!
