NY teaching fire prevention at St. James, Kent Primary School and Kent Elementary School.

Members gave students an up-close look at different fire trucks and learned about the various pieces of life-saving equipment that our firefighters use.

Students learned about making plans for fire safety, including dialing 911 - remembering their address, changing the batteries in alarms twice a year, establishing a meeting place and stop-drop-roll.
